First Time Buyer without a Deposit

I was approached by a First Time Buyer after her bank had told her that they could not assist with a mortgage because she did not have a deposit in her own name and wanted to use a gift from a parent. I explained that as we can approach the whole of the market there are many lenders that will use a gift as a form of a deposit for a mortgage. We then went on to arrange this for her and this client has completed the purchase and moved into her first home.
